The main research results:
- A long-term stationary agrochemical experiment provided new data on changes in the humus content depending on different fertilizer management strategies;
- The soil fertility that had been improved as the result of different fertilizer management strategies facilitated an increase in the grain yield of wheat compared to the control (from 320 kg/ha to 1050 kg/ha);
- The use of clover as a green manure increased the yield of spring wheat (3.37 t/ha) even in the control variant without fertilizer application over 77 years;
- It was discovered that an additional application of mineral fertilizers in a dosage of N30Р45К45 increased the yield of wheat by 1.45-1.56 t/ha and the double dosage (N60Р90К90) increased it by 1.38-2.15 t/ha provided the content of humus and other nutrients in soil was sufficient.
