Laboratory of Agrochemical Analyses

The laboratory of agrochemical analyses was accredited in 2011. In 2016, it gained reaccreditation by fulfilling the requirements stated in the Order of Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation dated May 30, 2014 No 326 and the general requirements of the standard GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2009.

The zone of accreditation includes:

– analyses of soils for chemical properties (moisture, pH of salt extract, hydrolytic acidity, nitrate nitrogen, organic matter, total nitrogen, mobile phosphorus and potassium, hydrolyzable nitrogen, base saturation, exchangeable calcium and magnesium, total and mobile heavy metals: lead, zinc, nickel, cadmium, manganese, chromium etc.);

– analyses of organic fertilizers for physical and chemical parameters (mass fraction of water, ash, total nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, organic matter, pH of salt extract).

The laboratory conducts biochemical analyses of agricultural products under contracts with subdivisions of the Center and with other organizations.

Official certificates are issued based on the analysis results. The laboratory is equipped according to the modern standards.

A newly installed analyzer Inframatic-9200 (Perten Instruments) allowed performing analyses of grain (protein, oil) without grinding up and much faster. Scientists of the laboratory constantly improve their skills and undertake postgraduate study at FSBSI “FSC of Agricultural Biotechnology of the Far East named after A.K. Chaiki”.

Center for shared use of research equipment “Primorsky soil research center” was set up within the laboratory in 2015. The Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations accredited it as a fully functional facility in 2016.
