Scientific innovations can be introduced into the real sector of the economy by different ways. The most efficient of them are:
– scientific support of the technologies for producing breeder seeds of released varieties of agricultural crops under contracts with seed companies for the provision of breeder seeds and under licensing agreements on the use of breeding achievements;
– improving resource and energy saving technologies for the cultivation of agricultural crops, completing science and technology projects on the sustainable land management and reutilization of fallow lands.
– providing consulting and expert services, preparing patent applications to protect intellectual property rights.
The department cooperates with the local mass media on disseminating general scientific and promotional information, organizes official meetings, workshops and conferences.
